Kimmy's Lasagna

My first attempt making lasagna and it turned out amazing.

Primal Kitchen Sauce and healthy ricotta cheese was a game changer for the lasagna. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 
2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse under cold water and set aside.
3. Cook beef or turkey with chopped onion, garlic, and Italian seasoning over medium high heat on stove until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
4. Spray a 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Then, add 1 cup of marinara sauce to a 9×13 pan. Followed by 3 lasagna noodles. Top with a layer of ricotta cheese, ground meat, spinach or kale, thin layer of sauce, and repeat two more times.
5. Finish with 3 noodles topped with sauce and goat cheese.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. 
7. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Broil 2-3 minutes if desired.
8. Rest 5 to 10 minutes, add Parmesan cheese and basil on top before cutting. Enjoy!
