Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of nut butter
  • 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp of coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup of HU chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, nut butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and coconut oil.
  • Add the coconut flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (the batter will be thick).
  • Pour the batter evenly into your prepared pan, using your hands if necessary to spread the brownies evenly.
  • Bake the brownies for 15 minutes.
  • Allow the brownies to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with powdered sugar.
