Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup of nut butter
  • 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp of coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup of HU chocolate chips
 

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or spray it with cooking spray.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, nut butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and coconut oil.

3. Add the coconut flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt to the mixture, stirring until well combined.

4. Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (the batter will be thick).

5. Pour the batter evenly into your prepared pan, using your hands if necessary to spread the brownies evenly.

6. Bake the brownies for 15 minutes.

7. Allow the brownies to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with powdered sugar.
