Apple Sauce Coffee Cake
Apple Sauce Coffee Cake for a morning treat makes the Soul happy!
This coffee cake is guilt free and sweetened with monk fruit sugar. It is sooo delicious.

Ingredients
Streusel Topping
- 4 tbsp ghee butter or coconut oil (not melted)
- 1/3 cup GF flour
- 1/2 cup lakanto golden sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup walnuts chopped finely
Coffee Cake
- 4 tbsp ghee butter or coconut oil (not melted)
- 1 1/3 cup GF flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup lakanto sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup apple sauce
Powdered Sugar Frosting
- 1/4 cup of lakanto powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp of water
Directions
For the Streusel Topping
- In a bowl, cream the flour and butter together using a fork or pastry cutter.
- Stir in the rest of the ingredients and set aside.
For the Coffee Cake
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare the nonstick baking bread loaf pain, 9.5 x 5 inches, and spray with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and flour together using a pastry cutter.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish and level off the batter.
- Drizzle on the streusel evenly over the top of the batter.
- Place in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick that has been inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool 10 minutes before slicing.
- Top with the frosting drizzle and Enjoy!
